“Vivace” from Teleman’s Sonate in D (TWV41:DA3)
This is a live-recording (only audio, phone-recording 😉 ) from our concert in the Remonstrantse Kerk, Oosterbeek, Netherlands February 2018. I made it into a video using photos that were taken during a recording-session we did in november 2017.
In our search for repertoire for the quite original combination of Perles Sonores, we decided to re-arrange existing pieces for a.o. works for trumpet and orchestra, giving them a new ‘identity’ that fits our aim and perspective perfectly. This Teleman Sonata was a great ‘victim’ for that 🙂 and I had a LOT of fun making the arrangements.
Trumpet (Piccolo in A) : Robert de Boer, Viola and arrangement: Dominica Eyckmans (playing”Magnus” made by André Theunis, Harpsichord: Pauline Schenck (harpsichord built by Martin Skowroneck)
